The Hillcrest Country Club restaurant, the Mixed Grill, offers an exquisite menu furbished by professional chef Victor Melgoza, Jr. Mixed Grill offers a full lunch and dinner menu, which changes twice a year and features regular specials. Regular weekly specials include the "Pot-of-Gold" Buffet, during which $50 and a free dinner are given away, a Sunday Champagne Brunch, Fried Chicken Tuesdays and a special Children's Night on Thursdays. Additional monthly events include the Stagette, a ladies' luncheon and Bridge gathering, and Shrimp Peel Dinners.
Selections from Hillcrest's enticing lunch menu include Bruchetta appetizers, a slow-roasted Peppered Chicken Reuben, the exceptional 9th Hole Club and tender Chicken Piccata. In the evening hours, from 5:30 until 9 PM, diners may choose from such tempting dinner choices as steaming Soup du Jour for the carb-conscious, succulent Asian Lamb, fresh Pan Seared Tilapia and a choice Filet of Beef. The dinner menu also includes an appealing list of appetizers, specialty coffees and luscious desserts.
In addition to these exquisite dining options, Hillcrest hosts special buffets for several popular holidays including New Year's, Valentine's Day, Mother's and Father's Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Plus, when members enjoy the Memorial and Labor Day buffets, they can also take part in Hillcrest's lively outdoor carnivals. And always mindful of member's and their young children, Hillcrest hosts special buffets for young diners during Easter, Halloween (with an exciting "Spook House" and hay ride) and Christmas.
